To get a custom avatar you require to be a global driver (%) on the Pokémon Showdown! simulator or by being a contributor (think of tier contributions, spriting, development team, etc.) Each and every custom avatar has to be individually uploaded to the server by Zarel. This is also a reason why not everyone can have a custom avatar. There is a few ways you can change your avatar. You can do it by clicking your name in the chat or in the top right corner of the screen. Then you click on the current avatar and a whole list of public avatars will pop up. You can click on the one you like the most to use it.Īlternatively you can use the /avatar command. Using this command requires you to know the name or the ID of the avatar. Certain avatars are only accessible by the use of this command.
